Drone Media Imaging were delighted to be back with the BBC One Show team filming as part of their feature on the annual London to Brighton mini run.

This landmark car event starts with around 2000 minis in Crystal Palace and finishes on the iconic Madeira Drive in Brighton. Here, the finest of the bunch take part in the Show n Shine and visitors can take a stroll through rows of these pristine mini examples and give them the admiration that they deserve.

Obviously, flying a drone at the official start line of the event was problematic as drone flights need to take place 150 metres away from gatherings of more than 1000 people and the One Show don’t tend to have a lot of notice when planning their features.  Therefore, they allocated us a space just a few minutes from the start line where our brief was to capture the minis at the start of their journey.

Then it was time for us to pack up our kit and race the minis down to a second location near Hassocks in East Sussex to capture the minis again as they neared their destination.

A two location mini adventure for us and we’re looking forward to seeing the finished piece.  We’ll share it here when it’s available.
